microblogging

Things aren't making sense right now. I'm seriously thinking about just micro-blogging what i think right now because it's more sensible. But just so my blog of four years (Yeah, I didn't even celebrate my bloggy's birthday last January) won't feel neglected, let's just put my feelings on a bigger platform.

I'm always tired, because people around me stress, scream and nag about the most mundane of things. Talk about noise pollution. School isn't getting helping me, since I'm not sure if my grades have shored up since my last resolve to do better. And right now I've lost my intact thought process to think of more things to say, so I'm just going to leave it at that.

I need my sleep. Goodnight world!

the Unknown

I'm scared for tomorrow. Instead of reporting to duty, I'll have to do manual labor at a Shopper's store, as a requirement for my Philosophy of Man class. Basically the aim of the exposure is to really give us an realistic experience of what makes man truly human through realistic social engagement and stuff like that.

It'll only be for two days, corresponding to the last two days of my three day RLE. Anyway, I woke up this morning nauseated and my stool watery, and that's basically my parasympathetic nervous system working. The keyword is 'NERVOUS'.

It's not that I'm not excited. On the contrary, this will probably be an experience I would proudly tell my children when they grow up, but I can't hide the fact that I'm anxious of the unknown.

Whether that unknown involves me at the Men's Wear department or meeting my quota of cellphones that need to be sold...one thing's for sure: tomorrow, life will GRAB ME by the balls

By virtue of the trailer...

I would say that I will line up for a chance to watch this on the big screen. Well, I've made some faulty predictions of a movie's success from watching their respective, so I hope I won't be disappointed with this one.

plus, Chris Columbus directed this. So if he was capable of making me fall in love with the Harry Potter series (the nerd I am), then probably he could get me hooked on this series

I haven't really graduated from reading fiction yet. And I don't think I will. I'm still waiting for NBS to send me "The Lovely Bones" and "Hush, Hush" and I'm pretty excited. Now if only they could release more from the 39 clues series sooner...

G Day

So today's my birthday and suffice to say it was GREAT.

So first off, duty at Brent's Emergency Room wasn't toxic at all. God's first gift of the day I guess. Next, after duty, I treated Riez and Jam to coffee and snacks after duty at 3rd Cup. Lo and behold they actually gave me gifts!!!!

from riez, a basket of a lot of chocolate goodies! AND a nice mini desk lamp. (no picture but still cool)

Photobucket

and from jam, a Starbucks 'Design Your Own' tumbler and a pack of whole coffee beans (Starbucks still)

Seriously I was shocked that they would go through all the trouble of putting together gifts like that for me, so that made the afternoon even better.

After the little snack, they told me to check my facebook page when I got home. So I did..and imagine my shock when they posted THIS!!!

Photobucket
WOW. I never imagined my friends would want to make something like this for me. It just goes to show how lucky I am to have people like them. I was touched. :')

Anyway, A LOT friends greeted me on facebook. It was actually a secret fear of mine that my facebook page wouldn't have any greetings on my birthday. My page was anything but that. :)

All in all, it was a GREAT day. and just when I thought my day couldn't get any better...

OMFG! I got a line of 9 for my Statistics grade!!!!!! OMFG! OMFG! THANK YOU LOOOOOORRRRDD!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

the Gio29 project

Starting tomorrow I'm going to start something so bizarre, so unorthodox and so...out there, that I think I'm pushing the limits of my sanity.

Starting tomorrow, I'm going to embark on a journey that'll test my endurance, patience, determination and discipline.

Starting tomorrow, I will try to believe that Julie Powell was godsend.

Starting tomorrow....I'll do daily crunches.

Yes, you heard it right, daily crunches. daily crunches. daily crunches

I want to do it because:

1. I need to trim down my gut, 2. If I can do and maintain this, then there's so limit to what I can accomplish and 3. I would like to believe that this has the potential to CHANGE MY LIFE, Seriously.

I want to call it the "Gio 29" project, well, because the number there represents the goal waistline size that I want to achieve by Feb 4, 2011. This means I have one year to work on it.

Let the blood bath begin.

Now.

Frustration

Have you ever experienced that feeling where you try and try and try your hardest to accomplish something...like studying for an exam for example, and at the end, it's still not enough? I had one of those today, and it was frustrating. I mean, come on, I don't think it was even fair for us. Our teacher announced an exam on the topics that my group reported on, only to find out that the exam she gave us was anything but the topics we studied on. And to my chagrin, most of the test questions came from the reviewer I recently bought but never had time to read thoroughly (A nursing reviewer that is). Life's not fair. Boo!!

Anyway, it's almost my birthday so I hope things go my way soon. Sooner, rather than later.
